Barbara Klemm (*1939 in Münster/Westphalia) is a German photographer and press photographer. She had worked for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung since 1959, first as a photography lab technician, then on the editorial staff from 1970 to 2006, specialising in features and politics. Her black and white photographs cover a wide range of press photography - with portraits, landscapes and impressions from her various journeys as predominant themes in her works. Some of her pictures, like the ones of Willy Brandt and Leonid Breschnew or Brandt and Helmut Schmidt have become iconic. Klemm is a member of the Akademie der Künste in Berlin. She lives and works in Frankfurt am Main.
